Simon Barry is Senior Economist and Associate Director at Ulster Bank Capital Markets with responsibility for providing coverage of the major international economies and related interest rate and foreign exchange rate markets. Before joining Ulster Bank, Simon spent almost 7 years as Senior Economist with Bank of Ireland Global Markets. Prior to that, he worked as a senior consultant with Goodbody Economic Consultants having also worked as a lecturer in economics in Waterford Institute of Technology. He holds B.Comm. and M.Econ.Sc. degrees from University College Dublin.
Richard Ramsey is NI Economist with Ulster Bank Group Economics with responsibility for providing analysis and commentary on all aspects of the NI economy including financial markets. Before joining Ulster Bank, Richard spent 10 years in the public sector - including spells as Principal Economist at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment and with Invest NI. He also held a number of economist posts within the Department of Finance & Personnel. Prior to that, Richard is a graduate of Loughborough University with a BSc in Economics & Human Geography and an MSc in European Economics and Finance.
Lynsey Clemenger, Economist, has worked with Ulster Bank since 2007, and specialises in Irish macro-economic analysis and forecasting. Prior to joining Ulster Bank, Lynsey worked in economic research at Davy Stockbrokers and in the Markets division of Royal and Sun Alliance insurance company. A graduate of University College Dublin, Lynsey holds both a BA and MA in economics, and participated in the economics scholarship programme at Berkeley University, California.
Jennifer moved to Group Economics from Property Finance. She has taken on the role of Executive Assistant to Pat McArdle, and also provides support to the rest of the team, with particular responsibility for publishing the team's output on InTouch and UlsterBank.com
